Terms and Conditions

 

Thank you for choosing Justina Schuyler as your personal trainer for your fitness journey. By signing up for our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.


1. Informed Consent

All clients are required to sign an informed consent document. This includes:

  • Purpose and Procedure: Consent to participate in a personal fitness training program, including dietary counseling, stress management, and health/fitness education activities.
  • Guidance and Monitoring: A professional trainer will provide instructions, monitor performance, and ensure safe exercise within personal limits. Clients may need to undergo fitness assessments.
  • Health and Medications: Clients must inform the program staff of any prescribed medications and health status changes.
  • Symptoms and Adjustments: Clients are expected to report any symptoms such as fatigue, shortness of breath, or chest discomfort during exercise, and may have their exercise regulated based on health indicators.

2. Risks

Clients are informed of the potential risks involved in exercise, including but not limited to:

  • Abnormal blood pressure
  • Fainting
  • Dizziness
  • Heart rhythm disorders
  • Heart attack, stroke, or even death
  • Injuries to muscles, ligaments, tendons, and joints

Every effort will be made to minimize these risks through proper assessments and supervision.

3. Benefits and Alternatives

Clients understand that participation may or may not improve physical fitness or general health, but will provide valuable experience in:

  • Performing conditioning exercises correctly
  • Using fitness equipment
  • Regulating physical effort

4. Confidentiality

All personal health information obtained during the fitness program will be treated as confidential and used solely for program purposes.

5. Personal Responsibility

Clients must inform their trainer of any health status changes and follow all instructions related to exercise, stress management, and health programs.

6. Training Sessions

  • Scheduling: Sessions are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Cancellations: Please provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations to avoid being charged for the session.
  • No-shows: Clients who do not show up for a scheduled session will be charged for the session.

7. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due before or at the time of the session.
  • Packages and memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.

8. Liability

Clients agree to waive and release Justina Schuyler, Hero Era Fitness and Healthy Bodies Quincy from any claims for damages arising from participation in training programs, including injuries resulting from the use of training equipment.

9. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.

By signing up for our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.

Return and Refund Policy

 Refund Policy:

  • No Refunds: Once payment is made, it is non-refundable. This policy helps maintain the integrity of our scheduling system and ensures commitment from clients.
  • Session Expiry: Sessions are tracked like vouchers that can be used at any time. Unused sessions will expire if not utilized within 6 months from the date of purchase.

Rescheduling and Cancellations:

  • Flexibility and Good Faith: We understand that life happens and are flexible with rescheduling as long as the courtesy of 24 hours notice is given. Your session will not be lost if you need to reschedule, provided you inform us within this timeframe.
  • Communication: It is essential to communicate any need to reschedule or cancel a session in advance. You can reach out via phone, email, or our online scheduling system.
  • No-Shows: If you do not show up for a scheduled session and fail to communicate, the session will be considered waived, and you will be charged for the session.

We strive to work in good faith with our clients and appreciate the same in return. Our policies are designed to provide structure while accommodating the needs of our clients whenever possible. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
